NATIONAL TESTING 2015

YEARS 2-6

We will be administering the national tests on the following days. It is imperative that all pupils sit these tests. As stated in the Test Administration Handbook, absent pupils will receive a mark of below 85 regardless of their ability. This will be damaging to our school’s data and view of performance and achievement. Thank you for your cooperation.

Year 5 treated us to a wonderful touching Easter Service today. Well done children, you have worked very hard.

 THE ECLIPSE

What a superb experience! Real science in all its glory. Every child in the junior department witnessed the eclipse safely this morning. It was also brilliant to share this experience with the parents who visited school for the morning.

RED NOSE DAY ASSEMBLY

Mrs Walker gave a wonderful assembly in KS2 today. Mrs Prytherch and Mrs Morris Hughes were tasked with painting a red nose blindfolded! We had an exciting game of ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’ and we learned important messages about Red Nose Day. Well done everyone – we raised £423.35 which included £180 spent on red noses!!
