A big well done to our Year 5 children for a lovely Easter service. You sang beautifully and told the Easter story in a powerful way.
We thoroughly enjoyed Hetty Feather at Theatre Clwyd on Friday. The screenplay was written by Emma Reeves a former pupil from Victoria! Thank you to Mrs Spinks for reminding us the show was on this week!
What a great World Book Day! The children have had a great day. We have never seen so many amazing costumes, and I would like to say a massive thank you to all the parents and grandparents who visited school for Parents’ Day – we love having you in school.
Our Champion of Reading, Ceci Jenkinson visited and inspired lots of our children to write in exciting ways. Ceci spent some time talking to the children about their favourite books as well as delivering two wonderful sessions.
Well done to all our costume winners, Top Trump winners and awesome Book Quiz winners!

Well, we all had a sneak preview of Drama Club’s production of ‘Hairspray’ this morning and most of us ended up with tears in our eyes! What a beautiful song and it was sung with such feeling. And Chloe – you were superb! Thank you Miss Anderton – we are in for a treat!
We have been very lucky to secure some sessions for our pupils with Reading2Dogs. Our children and staff had some lovely quiet reading time with Misha.
