We are really pleased to be able to share with you that The Minister for Children, Older People and Social Care has confirmed that Wrexham will commence a full county roll out of the Childcare Offer from January 2019. This means that all parents in Wrexham, subject to them meeting the working eligibility, will be able to access the funded childcare from the term after their child’s third birthday.
Parents currently living in Wrexham’s Childcare Offer pilot wards (see leaflet attached for current wards eligible) will continue to access the Childcare Offer for this Autumn term. Parents who will be eligible to receive the offer in January 2019 can only apply from November. Applications for newly eligible parents cannot be made any earlier than this date.
